Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

So what's the final word on an overdose of Sertraline? Does it seriously do no damage? As my husband knowing I'm in the edge just hid everything sharp and my car keys so that's all I've got left at the moment.
As far as I know SSRI antidepressants including Sertraline wouldn't cause any serious damage even in relatively large quantities.
You end up vomiting and feeling horrible afterwards.

In the 90s I was dosed up on shit loads of Valium every day. My dr was awesome about supplying it. Now you get enough pills to last a short flight, if you ask. It totally sucks.

Hey guys, newbie here.
I've tried a couple of methods but SI kicked in. Tried to OD on pregabalin but woke up after a day or so. I'm limited on resources as my partner is always checking up on me or the mail. I actually do officially have serotonin syndrome, I cannot tolerate even the tiniest dosage of SSRIs. I have around 250 mg of amitriptyline, does anyone know medically if that will do it for a person with serotonin syndrome?

You're posting on an older thread about a different medication, so you're not as likely to get answers. It would be more beneficial to start a new thread.
Even more beneficial is to first do a site search of amitriptyline, and to Google "amitriptyline fatal overdose seratonin syndrome," then post if you're not finding relevant information or need help interpreting it. You can also look up amitriptyline warnings on d r u g s . c o m.

What does it feel to have it? What are your main scary symptoms?
I've read it comes on different levels of severity ? And it affects the physical and the psychological. What are yours?
Isn't it supposed to have a cure or antidote?
About the amitryptiline don't try to overdose with that, it will cause you a lot more trouble.

FAQs asked not to repeat threads, so since this was about serotonin and serotonin syndrome (amitriptyline works at the serotonin site), I thought it was appropriate. The only info that is out there about OD involves grams, I only have access to 250 mg. The only info about serotonin syndrome comes in the form of warning, but it doesn't mention at which dosages it becomes fatal for different medications.

After just a couple of hours, I start shaking and sweating, become incoherent and confused, have heart palpitations and super dilated pupils. This happened to me once on only my first 25 mg of Sertraline for example. The cure is to ride it out for low dosages, or benzos for higher.
Thanks everyone for their responses. Hugs.

No one can predict that . It's like asking how many nuts will kill a person with a mild nut allergy .
FAQ may advise not to repeat threads but you have a specific condition , and this is a about regular SRRI overdose . So you're asking about TCA , which you're sensitive to , on an old SSRI OD thread No harms done , but a bit confusing .
