I'm trying to work out any kind of viable method with what i have access to, given that SN is basicly out of reach these days. It seems like the only thing I'd have access to would be mixing my antidepressants (esciotalopram) with other sertonogenic medications, like DXM based cough syrup to try die by serotonin syndrome. I know it would be a very painful death, but would it at least work? i just wish i hadnt been made to throw out my tramadol while i still had it

**Note that I am not a medical professional and am only going off of my limited knowledge on this subject. I might be wrong here, so take what I say with a grain of salt**

The highest risk of suffering from severe serotonin tends to be associated with taking an MAOI in conjunction with some other kind of serotonergic drug. While serotonin syndrome can be dangerous and potentially life-threatening, cases of death from it are pretty rare from my understanding. Death would only be a concern if you were suffering from severe serotonin syndrome, at least from what I know. In all honesty, this is a pretty awful method that would more likely end in you suffering a whole bunch for nothing.

Little is known about serotonin syndrome, I wouldn't try something like that.

as someone who has experienced serotonin syndrome by mixing mirtazipine and seroquel, I would put this down as a non method. it's absolutely terrible feeling and not a reliable method whatsoever. meant with care, OP. I understand your plight.

i don't think this would work. i've had serotonin syndrome several times from being on several high dose antidepressants + migraine medication. i think it's really hard to die from serotonin syndrome. the drugs would probably cause more internal damage in large amounts but not kill you.

Unreliable, extremely unpleasant, very protracted. Do not do.

Tramadol is a SNRI on top of being an opioid and will just make serotonin syndrome worse, unfortunately.

honestly, it's rare and therefore hard to induce. I tried to give myself serotonin syndrome when I was on an overdose of wellbutrin, viibryd and remeron with alcohol. didn't work, instead I was taken into the ER and now I have to pay my hospital bill of $921. I honestly consider this a non-method, even more so, if you have family or roomates in your home, then yeah most likely you're gonna end up with a hefty bill. doesn't include the medication I had to take for pretty much a week after that.
