I can't bear this. I'm trapped hundreds of miles from home because I wanted to ctb away from where I live to not traumatise my family n friends. Even though I said I'd go voluntarily they are sectioning me to the shittest hospital in the country where even happy people would want to die! I said I'd go but was too honest n said it doesn't mean it will work but I'll give it a try. Now there's only one thing I want ro do and NOT try DO. How do u CTB in hospital?! I am trapped for 28 days. I can't wait another month

my god, that's just the worst, have you considered to walk around the hospital to see if there were a safe space for you ? or you just won't be allowed to walk around at all ?

That's really terrible, the mental hospitals really are dungeons that should be avoided at all costs. How they can advocate for more of them is beyond my understanding. I hope you can find some peace in this broken world.

That sounds like an awful situation to be trapped in, hospitals certainly sound like horrific places to me. I think that trying to ctb in a place like that will likely just lead to failure, ctb is already difficult enough without being in that environment.

That sounds horrible. CTB in a hospital is nearly impossible since there are so many safety precautions. I understand how horrible it it might be to stay in a mental hospital which I believe should be avoided at all costs. However, since you are already in the dreaded situation, I suggest you to at least try to wait for another 28 days. I understand how hellish it might be but the success rate of CTB in a hospital is very low and if you fail, they would lock you up for even more days. I hope this helps.

When you're held on a section, you should be contacted by the advocacy services within a few days. If you hear nothing, make sure to ask (and keep asking) about it. They assist you in appealing the section.
If there's no way out of it, your best option (speaking from experience) is to do everything possible to prevent them extending the order. Remember, inpatient places are in short supply and they won't keep you in without good reason. Make it through 28 days by acting and playing by the rules.
Trying to CTB in there is extremely unlikely to work and will just increase the length of your stay.

It's kinda funny. Being in here I realise I'm actually pretty sane compared to alot of the other patients. I've just had enough of suffering. Though you do start getting stupid creative ideaa with ways u could possibly try to ctb whilst everything is taken away. I'm so pissed for failing on Wed I was so close to beachy head when they caught me.
