I'm tired

A few years back I went to tested for possible disabilities after I bombed my first semester of college (I flunked out anyway). The psychiatrist who did my report wrote that I have "schizophrenic tendencies" or something like that, and that I have a cognitive disorder but never specified which specific disorder it could be. In both cases I was never really told what to do after being given those diagnoses.
Has anyone here experienced something like this and if so could you spread some light on it?
An addendum: they also had me squeeze this handheld machine to measure grip strength, but I have no idea what grip strength has to do with mental or neurological disorders.
