I have many online friends I met when I am gaming. I think one of them, he always talks about CBT, decided to do so already. I'm extremely sad, I wish he said goodbye.

Very sure he CBT he's offline too long already in Steam. I should respect his wishes, but I have feeling of much regret he CTB because he think no one is there for him.

So sad. Do you think you should say Goodbye to your close friends or loved ones? Maybe through letter or just quick note?

Anyone have the same experience? Just curious. Thank you.

I guess some people just like to slip away quietly without any fuss.

This is the only place where I've ever had meaningful conversations about ctb. It's always been super taboo in my circle and I never knew anyone in the real world who confided in me about wanting to end it. There's really no right or wrong way to leave. The people doing it are probably going through a million different emotions and are scared/not sure if they will be successful in their attempt. Sorry about your friend though, hope you are able to cope.

I've never experienced this so I can't identify much with the anxiety and worry you feel.

I've decided against saying goodbye to anyone I know offline. I don't need the guilt trip.

I hope you find out about your friend one way or the other soon.
