Who has done it? I think everyone should try it before they die. Experiencing ego death is so terrifying yet mind blowing
Salvia - the most powerful dissociative
Doesn't compare to DMT at all as in it's a completely different experience.
DMT & Salvia are actually totally opposites
One brings you closer to reality and your individuality (I think, I've never done DMT) while one completely rips everything you have ever known away from you.
My experience:
I smoked it at a party about a year ago. I thought it was just a plain blunt.
About 15 seconds later everything was spinning and everyone's voices were incoherent. I didn't know which way was up. I managed to literally crawl up the stairs and lay on my friend's bed who was hosting. I had no idea what was happening to me so that's one of the reasons this was so terrifying. Ego death - the complete loss of ones sense of self. You no longer feel you are a person. You have no understanding of consciousness. You have no concept of time at all. It no longer exists. You don't know where you are or what you are doing there. You don't feel like a singular being. You are just observing life has if you have never seen any of it before. Yes this is 100% real and it was the most terrifying experience of my life. I said to myself before I completely was lost what time is it? I had no reason to want to know the time. I stared at my phone for maybe 2 minutes maybe 2 seconds I don't know. I remember looking at the numbers and not understanding what they were or what they represented. I didn't know why I was holding this seemingly meaningless thing that was my phone so I just dropped it on the floor. For some time I felt as if I was having a heart attack probably from the panic. it was very intense. When I could finally move I stood up, still could barely walk than basically sliding down the stairs. I saw peoples faces but I couldn't hear them or actually it was more I just couldn't understand them at all. It was only noise. At this point I had no thoughts at least that I could put into words because I had no knowledge of language. I had no recollection of anyone even my close friends. I didn't know what these beings were. They looked so strange and creepy to me. I felt as if I was seeing a human for the first time. Looking back I thought everyone looked like ugly fish haha. I didn't feel as if I was one of them because I didn't have any sense of self it was like I was objectively observing. I don't remember to much after this I went outside and probably was like wtf some more. It's impossible to explain Salvia. I did a terrible job though lol but people have called it seeing the truth and going to another dimension. Seeing the truth is very very accurate. I recall someone saying when you are on it you feel as if you are finally awake and everything before that, your life as a human was just a dream. and that's the most accurate way I've seen it described. when you wake up from a dream you don't remember it really and it's all foggy. Compare how real you feel in a dream compared to real life. That feeling when you wake up after a long dream that felt like reality when you were sleeping. Imagine that but your life is the dream and you are waking up for the first time. It's on a whole other level. It's a very very intense very real experience. I highly recommend it. Go into knowing what to expect and embrace it. I will be doing it again soon but this time on purpose hah For me it lasted about 30 minutes well my friend told me thats how long I disappeared for.
It was terrifying!!! - it was incredible
