I've done my research and I think that I'm going to use Royal Gorge Bridge. Ive been there as a child. It's located in the USA in Colorado. It's much higher than the Golden gate bridge and higher than any in my state. It's 955 feet above the river which is about 190 meters. That's lethal for anything but the very rarest of lucky accidents. I will fall for just under 8 seconds and reach a speed of 169 miles per hour. The impact may have a momentary recognition of hit and then I stand unconsciousness. I can escape my family and make them think I'm going for a trip to visit some property.

Terminal velocity for a human is actually about 120mph. You would want to keep your arms close to your body, and try to fall feet or head first to minimize area of resistance, and maximize acceleration. That said, 190m is enough for you to reach terminal velocity this way. If you maximize surface area, you would only be traveling about 85mph at impact, because wind resistance would slow your acceleration.

Should be pretty instant, but people have survived further falls by dumb luck. The idea of surviving impact and drowning slowly terrifies me too much for jumping to be a "peaceful" method in my mind. But, everyone has a right to choose how they will leave this world.

Honestly at that height jumping head on doesn't matter at all really.
Good luck. I wanted to jump but I could only find a much smaller height where the chances of dying are only about 90%.

Was about to make a post about this bridge, but decided to do a search to see if anyone has talked about it before and found this post.
I'm thinking this may be my way of going as well.

There are tons of videos on YouTube & TikTok showing the bridge off. Seems like the barrier is only 5 feet so that should be a pretty easy obstacle to clear. I also read that 20 people in 2020 took their life there. No one surviving.

20 people died in Fremont County in 2020, not 20 on the bridge. It is more like 1 per year on this bridge, according to what I have seen. For comparison, the Golden Gate Bridge gets about 30 per year.

I guess the Golden Gate attracts more because it's in major city meanwhile this bridge is in the middle of Colorado, and you to buy a ticket to gain access.

Regardless it seems worth it for that extra 209 feet.

Not that many people actually ctb via jumping from a bridge. Most of them, I bet, don't really care about the logistics when they're fully blown considering it.

Taos bridge in New Mexico is popular too. A scene in Natural Born Killers was filmed there.
