Hey everyone, I'm fairly new here so apologies in advance if I've not formatted this correctly it's my first post. Basically I'm looking for some feedback on my plans to ctb via hanging.
The rope itself is cotton, 8mm diameter which I'm hoping is thick enough? Regarding the length I plan on attaching it to my door handle (unsure best knot to use), wrapping it over the door frame which will allow me to drop over the banister using a slipknot. I've also purchased some handcuffs to make sure I don't naturally try and hoist myself up after although in hindsight this is probably unnecessary should I do this correctly.
I attempted partial hanging but just couldn't seem to commit enough so I'm trying to eliminate any chances of me naturally trying to back out at the last second or save myself. In terms of neck breakage I don't really know if the drop will be enough but either way I will be fully suspended. I believe the slipknot itself goes roughly behind the ear to restrict the cortoroid artery but again I'm not sure.
I plan on locking my front door with the bolt across and leaving a note peaking out to say call the police and do NOT enter. I don't live alone and naturally I don't expect my relatives to listen to this and will force their way in, but I'm really unsure how best to avoid traumatising them.
I'm strongly considered purchasing SN which would be my preference but this seems extremely difficult in the UK and i'm not planning on being sent to a psych ward but open to any suggestions just shoot me a message if you have information regarding this.
