Peanuts aren't nuts! They're seeds!

Hi everyone

Here is a list of a few things I have compiled. We are all struggling with many things and having a stable external situation can at least take some pressure off. I have intentionally tried to keep the list broad. Take whatever feels useful. Add anything you would like to!

(The housing resources have to be country specific and I'm sorry for only including US and UK - they just happen to be places I have looked into before. But if you are from a different country and need support- please mention it and perhaps myself or someone else could help!)

Education resources available to all—

Jobs—
Far too regional to say more but here are some ideas!

Many people in the west teach English from home (yay colonization!) so that may be worth considering if you need steady income but flexible hours.

Only for US citizens

US Social services—

US rental assistance—

UK job stuff—

no. Planning to exit does not mean one does not need a home or income.

Maybe they can pin it or link it in both places.

If anyone ever considered starting a business in the USA there are free and low cost trainings given by SCORE. You can also get FREE mentorship- someone in your locale and business area that can guide you and help answer questions.

If you are too sick to work there is also this guide to navigating the process of applying for SSDI / SSI in the USA. There are a lot of crappy lawyers who are uncommunicative or give crappy info. This is the most thorough information I've seen on the process in addition to using YT videos for specific topics or questions.

Yes! It could be a running file everyone can build on :) There are definitely a lot more community resources as a result of the pandemic. There are food banks in almost every area.

For free educational resources, I love libgen.is

Search for any book like a year after its publication and it's usually there in pdf, epub, etc.
