How do you reply without quoting and how do you quote only certain parts?

I'm using an android phone, so highlight the words that you want to QUOTE and reply will pop up.

I don't know if anyone does it differently, this is the only way I know.

You can press reply on a post and it shows all the words in the text box. I just delete everything except what I want to quote, not the [ Q U O T E ] part though. And to reply without quoting, just click on the text box at the bottom of a thread and start typing.
