Since the day I was born I was destined to hardships bc of the religion I was born into. I hate all Abrahamic religions but the one I was born into is by far the worse. People get violent and threaten to kill you if u think differently to them and i cant even escape it its like im caged up. I hate the fucking converts who convert to 'my' religion and wished they were born into it stupid fucks they don't know how lucky they r to be able to choose what to believe in. Please tell me someone relates. I don't want to sacrifice my life for an afterlife that doesn't exist

Haha i love how u knew I was talking about Islam but there's pretty hardcore Christians too. Tbh I avoid places like that it makes me more depressed if u get what I mean :<

I am not from an abrahamic religion but kinda from a similar situation. When I was 13 and 14th year of age I used to spend my entire day studying religions, looking at arguments, rebuttals, apologists and it seriously messed me up, soon I realised the amount of flaws in each religious books (of major religions) and also the stupid history behind them and the stupid politics around religion. I also debated my abrahamic "friend" about his religion and he told me to speak to his religious leader and stopped replying me back lol and by the way he started the debate by abusing the jews and the gays out of nowhere in our friend group when we were walking back home from school after an exam. Losing faith is hard, but I am glad I have abandoned it. Religion is basically a method to control and manipulate people.

My entire family believes in stupid logics and 2 of my sisters and mother also believes in a cult. That cult has a human as a god who apparently attained "enlightenment" and unlocked all her "chakras" by "meditation"(She recently died in the 2000's lmao) and people idolize her and worship her pictures and pendants with her pictures. That cult leader has mixed the "teachings" of all religions and cherry picked what suited the agenda of her. They don't associate themselves with any religion and call themselves some bullshit ego stroking name.

I understand your situation, but realize that after dieing there is only abyss. Understand that one day you will have your own money and your family won't have much control over you and you can move out of your hometown for work or study. I hope your parents are providing you with study oppotunities atleast. So just keep faking your faith in front of others, don't show that you are different in faith from them, because they might harm you, and you have to work hard to escape this trap and raise your kids in a non-delusional and non-indoctrinational manner.

I hope you work hard and escape and achieve freedom that you deserve and enjoy joys of life like travelling, love, gaming, gym/sports and other hobbies.

Im a Christian. I believe in it. That said i would be lying if I said it hasn't became a minor or even non existent element in my life. I've been abandoned by everyone and seemingly by God as well. He certainly hasn't answer one of my prayers. At some point you just go God doesn't care about me and just throw the towel in.

This cult's name is Sahaja yoga and the cult's human god leader and founder is Nirmala Srivastava(that bitch died recently in the 2000's lol). They call themselves a different religion from everyone else, but they believe in the god's of all religions and have cherry picked the verses, practices and beliefs of all religions, this includes hinduism, christianity, islam, jainism, sikhism, buddhism, confucianism and some more lol and to top this shit cake on top they have even created some of their own myths and "modifications" in these religions. Basically they believe in complete batshit.

I was not forced physically, but I would have been considered a rebel and trying to not help myself in difficult situations also would have weakened my bond with my sister.

Let me remind you this cult even believes in "miracles" by doing their practices(that includes superstitions widely) and that they can cure genetical diabetes, cancer, genetical diseases(and this was said by my sister herself). It's complete batshit practices.

Well I was pretty desperate at that time, and also to keep my sister's happiness, I did it for around 3.5 months even went to this cult's community centres with my sister.

But I didn't feel anything that they advertised not even a single bit, even though I did everything perfectly, my sister assisted me, and I even had somewhat faith in that cult that they would help me. So, it was a complete waste of time. My sister wants me to continue after my exams and even go to their main centres("health centre" as they call it) to diagnose why I am not feeling anything and what problems I have and to solve these problems.

Maybe I will do it again after my exams just for some months for my sister's happiness and to see if this shit actually works(I am pretty desperate).

This cult is not that popular and of a menace so there is less documentation and allegations against this cult online.

They aren't being Islamophobic. It's true. There have been cases of misogynistic men who have converted to that religion because they believe that they can use it as an excuse for their misogyny. Just like how a lot of men love Christianity because they can use it as a way to excuse their misogynistic views.
