Help Reliable belt for night night method?

I got one of these belts.
Is it good for night night method? If I use two socks, placed on jugular and carotid, and then tight the belt around.

I wish I wasn't moving from it. But since it's locked in a safe 50km from where I live... So I need to find other ideas.

Sounds like you need to think it out - you seem to be in fact very much all over the place. For hanging, many successful hangs have done it with a bathrobe belt (Anthony bourdain) , dog leash (Madoff) - it can be very simple. Even guys in jail find a way to hang themselves with the little material available - so take a few step back, cool down, and focus.. One step at a time.

My understanding is that the night night method is based on using a ratchet strap- no belt involved.
