I have seen that and someone PM'd me about it. It is truly despicable and an utter waste of resources. I highly doubt it would do much good as it would just drive cautious people deeper underground. I can reasonably claim that it is more of a PR, virtue signal thing, and for people like us, it's useless at best.

It doesn't surprise me. It's sad that Reddit has been clamping down on a lot of the subs. I get that some of them don't agree with their "vision" and they think they're trying to help people but who are we kidding? They're just trying to appease their shareholders.
