Life is one big lie that seems endless. :(the government and corporate overlords need u to keep slaving.
Wow so it's basically nothing
Yeah just read about methodsPretty much :(
That is why I haven't been on in months.
Did you just like to view it ? I'm sure you know you have to make a reddit account to reply to anyone.
Funny how hypocritical they are on such a controversial and taboo subject such as suicide especially considering that one of its founders,
Aaron Swartz, did the very thing they're preaching against. Greed and ignorance rolled up together to look like 'help' with those hotlines and overused platitudes all for pr points. Pathetic really. I don't know about y'all but whenever I see a post that's ranked high on there that mentions suicide in any shape or form, I try my best to make these people understand but everyone are so stuck on making sure that no one should kill themselves regardless of circumstances. The audacity they have is beyond me especially since if they don't know what it's like then why have an opinion that people shouldn't opt out if they want to? It's not their life to dictate all these arbitrary rules.
not exactly on topic but i'm just thinking about how suicidal people are viewed by society and are made to think their thoughts and feelings are bad, wrong and crazy, yet dozens of people die from suicide around the world every single day. I think if it was more normalized, that would be very beneficial. it's really too bad people are so freaked put by the s word.
They say they only do it to avoid backlash, but I dont think I ever heard any online media or news report talk about reddit, the only example was with the boston bombing chase but thats about it. I doubt the media would have even cared, theres even worser stuff on Facebook and nothing happens to that site (the only reason it is dying it because it is 'evolving' to the newer generation)
Yeah just read about methods
Yeah, I've been there before sure I got the professional help I needed and haven't attempted suicide since but I still have suicidal thoughts and would want someone here to be a partner but I am more or less trying live for family and friends sake despite wanting to die.People are Bullied to death on Facebook but if we dare to end our own life without hurting anyone else (physically) it's off to the psych ward.
Pisses me off so much.
