While I don't ever post on reddit anymore due to it's censorship, I do frequent the TTG subreddit from time to time and here is a thread that I have found to be quite the read. It explains why suicide prevention is more harmful than anything.
Also, the quoted post below is a good post as well.
Also another one that sums up how selfish most pro-lifers and the majority of people in the world are:

I thoroughly enjoy bashing/undermining the efforts of people who support "suicide prevention". (I specifically mean the people who believe that they are entitled to use involuntary force to prevent suicide and violate the freedoms of depressed or suicidal people)
One of the multiple reasons "suicide prevention" exists, is because suicide is offensive to the ego of people who are fanatically obsessed with this pathetic idea that everyone's life can be better, or that under no circumstance are you "allowed to end your own life" (as if slavery is still a thing, even though that's illegal and your body/existence is not property of the state).
Suicide gives you the ultimate power, the power to choose between life/death for yourself, the power to terminate the ability of life in society/this world/etc to affect you. The ability of the individual to freely choose to stop participating in life, makes some people pissed, probably jealous even.
These people are hilariously pathetic virtue signalers who always hide behind mediocre double standard arguments, acting like suicide (dying voluntarily by choice) is a tragedy that needs to be prevented (with violent use of police force/hospital staff/etc to violate the person's freedom of movement and ability to decide for themselves) but at the same time will allow poor/homeless people to die involuntarily from lack of money.
If someone is serious about wanting to protect their right to die, they must never be TOO OPEN with friends or family, never tell any "professionals", never call any hotline numbers, etc, in order to avoid/escape any extreme risk of being involuntarily forced into a hilariously pathetic "mental health system" that treats depressed/suicidal people like criminals.
Anyone who calls the police/etc or initiates the use of involuntary force against a depressed/suicidal person (being depressed or suicidal is not a crime) should be forced to pay 100% of all medical bills. I'm not going to pay any money to any police or any hospital or any person involved with violating my freedom to decide what happens with my life, i'm not going to pay for any "help" or "treatment" forced upon me against my will, so if I was ever to be dragged to the hospital or a psych ward by cops who have no right to use involuntary force/detainment against me when I have committed no crime, i'd just laugh in their face when they try to hand me a bill afterwards.
I did not give my consent to being born, so I reserve the right to opt out of existence for whatever reason I want and whenever I want, without the consent of people who are offended by suicide. "Suicide prevention" (as long as it includes involuntary force) is a joke.
One final note, these people are even more pathetic because they want to use violent force to interfere with individual's suicide/freedom of choice, but they don't want to prevent or address any of the circumstances that push people towards suicide in the first place. They don't want to address poverty/boring hated jobs or poor working conditions/social or cultural issues/physical or psychological abuse/etc. No police officer, no "psychiatrist", is going to fix my poverty or my boring hated job or the trauma from physical/emotional abuse, or my social isolation/loneliness/etc.

Saying you don't want someone to commit suicide is like saying, "Hey, I know you're suffering, but can you stay a bit longer so I can feel better?"
