If that was a gore viewing place I wonder if it has to do with the New Zealand shooting video that was going around and the various state mouthpieces who have commented on the video and sharing it specifically.

The only person they silenced is the shooter. Clips of people dying is hardly free speech, and people are still free to discuss the video and the incident in other subreddits. It's directly related to the New Zealand shooting. Reddit just found an excuse to silence more people. Free speech alternatives to Reddit exist
Its still circulating as is his 72 page manifestoThe video was removed from the sub,and a thread was made instructing users not to share links to it.
I dont know what happened afterwards.
Because taxation is not actually voluntary, even though the people have been conditioned to accept it and see it as legit. It redistributes income through force instead of voluntarism.how is taxation theft?
If Reddit wants to become a place where people go to post selfies and food recipes,i will go somewhere else.
I'm sorry, but your 'anyone who hits a nerve must be saying something that is true but uncomfortable' analysis is kinda shit. How about actually providing specific examples of what you believe is unreasonable outrage, overreaction and lying? It should be an easy task if "nothing but lies [is] being said about him".Reddit is a cess pool of garbage. I understand people don't "like" some trains of thought, some people like hillary, some like trump. But it's become quite obvious that places like reddit and the MSM are just echo chambers of attacking anyone that thinks trump or anyone who disagrees with any leftist thought is anti-lgbt, islamophobic, antisemitic, literally hitler, etc.
It's unreasonable the amount of attacks that have been done on Trump, not that he is a perfect president, I never knew about the guy until he was shoved in my face by every news outlet, reddit included with at least 50% of the top posts being about how terrible trump is and how he is causing WW3. I was always skeptic of the MSM and what they say because they are really the enemy of the people so when I researched Trump myself I found nothing but lies being said about him (He isn't the only one they lie about, but he is a target and it's not in defense of all of what he does).
This isn't a pro-trump post I'm making, it's that the news and social media are complete bullshit who attack anybody that does not fit their narrative and Trump has clearly stated he is their enemy and does not fear them so this is their attack on him and I hope he continues calling them the fake media they are. Nobody has been this hated by the media unless they've exposed them for the corrupted industry they are, reddit is no exception.
See, you focused and became triggered the moment "Trump" was mentioned. The post itself is not meant to be in his defense, but in no way is he such an incompetent president or someone that needs to be so viciously attacked. I won't defend him as the best president or even as a great one, but the attacks are filled with lies and slander. The point is that the MSM hates anyone who tells the world about the truth of their corruption and lies and Trump has attacked them and told his citizens that they are fake news.I'm sorry, but your 'anyone who hits a nerve must be saying something that is true but uncomfortable' analysis is kinda shit. How about actually providing specific examples of what you believe is unreasonable outrage, overreaction and lying? It should be an easy task if "nothing but lies [is] being said about him".
How do you expect people to react when their country is led by a president with extreme views that drastically differ from those held by the majority of the country? Should they shut up and be quiet about the fact that Trump has dismissed the serious threat of global warming, withdrawn from the Paris climate accords and reopened coal mines, in fear of becoming an echo chamber?
Trump didn't even win the popular vote. A figure as polarising as Hillary managed to secure it with a margin of almost three million votes.
Trump's travel ban explicitly targets majority-Muslim countries. The purpose of the ban is purportedly to prevent terrorists from entering the country, yet Saudi-Arabia, the country that 15 out of 19 of the 9/11 hijackers were citizens of, is not affected by the ban. In fact, none of the attackers originated from any of the seven countries covered by the travel ban. Nor did the Boston marathon bombers. If this is sincerely an attempt at preventing terrorist attacks, Trump and his administration must believe that all Muslims, across borders, are a threat to national security just by virtue of their religion. How is this not Islamophobic?
His attempt at reintroducing the ban on trans-people in the army is arguably anti-LGBT. Even though it probably is true that trans people are a greater financial burden than other soldiers, is it not problematic to exclude an entire demographic of people from being in control of the collective weaponry of the US? One of the arguments used to defend the second amendment, and which I am somewhat sympathetic towards, is that an armed population is a deterrent against tyrants. A lot has changed since the 18th century, and the firepower of the military has far surpassed that which can be attained by stockpiling small-arms. Therefore it's crucial that the diversity of the general population is reflected in the military.
How else am I supposed to construe your attack on the media other than as a defense of Trump? You are saying that they are relentlessly making up lies about him, yet you fail to provide any examples.See, you focused and became triggered the moment "Trump" was mentioned. The post itself is not meant to be in his defense, but in no way is he such an incompetent president or someone that needs to be so viciously attacked. You can't tell me that Trump has never done a good thing in his entire presidency, look at his wars-oh wait, he hasn't started a single war, the only president since Reagan, he has pulled troops back home, he has settled things with north korea peacefully it seems. I won't say there aren't bad things about him, but have you ever once seen something positive said about trump on the MSM or a social news outlet? Because I sure haven't and that is extremely suspicious. Look at Obama, literally days after receiving his nobel peace prize he murdered countless innocent civilians after ordering them to be bombed. Yet somehow Trump is worse? He doesn't even have a war death count like Obama, yet he is somehow "literally hitler".
My issues are not that they aren't speaking of Trump as the messiah, it's that they have doubled down on slandering him ever since the 2016 elections, instead of backing off and giving him some form of credit, anywhere, but they refuse. They want this man dead, they want his name slandered, they want his presidency legacy tarnished, he called them out on their bullshit and they replied in full. To say he has not done a single thing correctly is absolutely wrong, and it's very clear with the way he is portrayed.
I have never once seen something positive of Trump on the front page of reddit ever, which to me screams an echo chamber of slandering on the man when it's very obvious he has done good, maybe not everything that you wanted or was promised(yet), but he has done good things in his presidency and I respect him for it. If you look at how much faith people have in the media it's obvious they are panicked right now because nobody believes in them, and Trump has told the world they shouldn't be trusted so they are losing money after being exposed.

Yeah, that was basically my point. It doesn't matter your political party, if you go against MSM and do not follow their lies, they attack you.I'm not advocating for any political party or politician, but I agree with your general criticism of the media's bias. Social media is even worse as it encourages the belief that whatever perspective is put forward most loudly or most frequently is true or best while offering people a platform to blast our opinions anonymously and unaccountably. Humans.
