• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I just returned from the hospital and I still feel the same way. But with more pills, more sadness and more suicidal. I still think about the person I used to love, that I met from this website. I just I don't know what to do.

Has anyone ever fallen for someone before with someone from this website?

I think it tore me apart his rejection, he couldn't handle the distance anymore. That made me even more suicidal, on top of me living with my ex. And he ended up blocking me, despite being suicidal. I just I don't know, it was so intense the love between us, and so was the end. I'm completely shattered and hopeless about life. I don't care if I end up in a psychiatric again at this point but I don't think I can afford it either.

Hi πŸ’— it may help to look up "trauma bonding" - sometimes when we either go through trauma with someone, or have a lot of similar experiences/"shared trauma" with someone - our feelings can become even more intense and hard to disengage from πŸ˜” understanding this dynamic has helped me to understand that it's actually a chemical thing in my brain (losing the connection feels like withdrawal, in addition to a loss of support and shared bond) - and have helped me intellectualize the feelings more instead of believe them at face-value. Otherwise, it can help to just take small steps to soothe your heart and know that you have the capacity to love deep, which is a beautiful thing, and means you can love deeply again πŸ’—
