I'm new here and grateful for this supportive and helpful community. <3
Today I bought a small disposable charcoal barbeque. When the time comes, I'll light the coals, put it on the back floor of my car and lie down on the back seat.
I have the sleeping bag and matches in my car ready to go (although it will probably get very warm so I might not use the sleeping bag). I'll put towels on the windows so no one can see in (except through the back) and obviously lock the doors.
Initially I tried cutting and then moved on to partial suspension, tried that a number of times with no luck. I'm elated and relieved to have found my method. All I need now is somewhere to drive to on the night... I can't use the driveway where I live, or the street. Maybe a quiet carpark (next to a sports field maybe) or a camping spot.
The police are everywhere right now upholding the stay inside rules, but if I can do it quickly enough I should be left alone.
Just wanted to write this out, thanks for reading.
