does anybody else get random mood swings at the weirdest moments? i was in the library studying and was feeling quite content, but then after listening to music for a while i became very upset for no reason. i remained this way until the next day and the same feeling is now returning. anybody else experience this?

Same, BPD is a bitch but before I realized I had it I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I don't doubt you could be having the same or similar problems to us.

it's something i did speak briefly to my psychiatrist about but he brushed it off like it was no concern. it was my last session with him though so i hope to bring it up to my new psychiatrist in the coming months
Kinda have those too. From "Ready to face life head on!" to "I wanna ctb rn", back and forth (simplifying it a bit). I guess those are "mood swings" given the randomness. I've started to disacociate with my own emotions, since it's "Something I experience" opposed to "My feelings". Not all, not completely, but at least to a noticeable extent.
i'm depressive bipolar so mine tend to last a few weeks or at the very minimum a few days. I would say my manic lasts 3-5 days and then depressive seems to last 3 weeks
I for sure know what you mean, for me at least I can be having a decent day, and then out of nowhere it just hits me how much everything sucks sometimes lol, sometimes my depressive episodes last weeks
