Hi,

What would you like other people to know about how you're feeling eg how would you like people to respond to when you say you've got suicidal thoughts or are attempting, like what would you want them to know?

tbh i don't want them to know. the only people that "care" about me and the last time i got hospitalized they were so devastated and i cannot fathom putting through that again. i don't think anyone else would care. in a perfect world my expression of ideation would lead to support, affirmation, and conversation and not being locked up in a ward

I think that it's an absolutely terrible idea being open to other people about wanting to die, it will just make things worse and they could interfere with suicide plans. Unfortunately we exist in a world where suicide is so stigmatised and where people cannot have open conversations about this subject. There are so many who don't accept the right to die and refuse to see suicide as being a rational option.

I just want them to let me live, the way I need to live right now, my mother pesters me about my eating habits and other things, I wish she would just leave me alone. I also want them to know that I can't socialise right now. I have chosen death and I want to live my final days unbothered.
