Questions about Phenobarbital (N) used for dogs

I'm really stuck here sorry, remove this post if its not allowed

I've been trying for months to obtain some SN or N and had pretty much given up. And then I realised today my dog is on daily prescribed medication (Epiphen) theres 100s of pills, i'm just wondering if anyone here knows if canine drugs are as effective on humans? would it effect the process if taken in tablet form?

The main difference between veterinary and medical grade are the purity and sanitary controls during manufacturing.
It's still a controlled/restricted substance though and illegal to own without a license in most Western countries.

Im in the UK, its a controlled substance here & I had to sign documents agreeing to handle them appropriately. The vets here never mentioned a license. &Thankss i just checked the purity is around 84-89% Phenobarbital for each 60mg pill, i have no idea if thats good or if its simply too weak.
Think ill just have to keep looking :)

I think it is important to note that Phenobarbital (Luminal) is not N. Nembutal is Pentobarbital. So check the proper dosages for pheno before doing anything else.

Also it takes up to 3 days to die from phenobarbital so it's not recommended. not on its own anyway
