What does it mean in the context of the hanging method?​

There can be some setup when hanging. It depends, mostly it's the positioning of whatever you're using to hang with and the anchor point. If it's partial, there is probably less set up as more or less you're just using a fixed object. Suspension though, that can be more set up to make sure whatever the anchor point is can support a body.
