Since I have been reading the PPH, I noticed that the police can conduct a welfare check for ordering SN, is this true? Curious to see if anyone has gotten checked in the US.

Doubt it....the author is Australian which has a big nanny government. Same with NZ. UK it's something that has to be reported by the seller.
