Hello everyone,

Sorry for bother everyone again, just looking for some input. I know Zofran is not a recommend AE by itself, due to it not affecting the dopamine receptors. But what would be a recommended dose with SN if not using another AE? I do have Meclizine also, which again is not the proper AE. It seems the question has been asked before but i wasn't able to find to much. the closest i came was this;

My only side effect from zofran is constipation. Otherwise, it's reasonably effective at a 4mg dose. At a higher dose (I believe 8-16 mg is recommended for cbt methods), it could be very effective.

TIA

I take 8mg Zofran a few times a day to control my nausea. I'm planning on combining it with Meto and maybe doubling my dose. That's all I know.

PPH seems to suggest a "stat" dose of 8mg :

I kind of have a stupid question, Should we stop taking SSRIs for an extended period of time if taking zofran? The goal is to overall reduce the amount of serotonin, correct?

I wonder if 45 minutes prior would screw things up :notsure:
Just looking over Stans guide and it suggest doing the antacid 30 minutes prior to SN. Not sure if taking 8mg of Zofran with 800mb of Tagemet at the same time is a good idea. Thats like 6 pills at once

That won't matter. If you're really concerned, there are sublingual tablets too. That's what I use.
