This isn't a question about how to find a spot, how tall should the thing you're jumping from be, etc. What I'm wondering is what to do in the moment to prevent someone from stopping you. I found a bridge that I like, know it's tall enough, but should I turn the hazards on and pull over so it looks like my car is fucked up? Will it be suspicious? I'm extremely paranoid about getting everything right. What do you do if you're at the spot on the bridge and there's a car immediately behind you, if you suddenly stop and it's the middle of the night there's no way the average person wouldn't assume you're going to jump. Help for avoiding suspicion please i need this to be clean and easy.

I think it mainly comes down to how fast you are. If you just get on the rail and jump I doubt even the most clocked in person would be able to stop you. The reverse is true if you stand there and can't work up the courage. I seen lot of jumpers discuss using drugs/alcohol to help them but as you are driving I will assume it might not be an option for you.

I suppose you could try to look like you had reason to just stand on the bridge with construction vest or something, but that wouldn't help you when you stand on the rail.
