Which knot is best for the noosse i see many people say it's the slip knot but when I tried it it feels quite ineffective like it would go to the side and would be no different from a normal knot

Poachers knot imo. Basically a slip knot with an extra loop. They may shift side to side but just position it accordingly. And wdym by a "normal knot"? A fixed loop knot like a bowline will not tighten when force is appliedSimilar threads
