• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

if you are feeling suicidal, it does not mean that they will certainly hospitalize you. If they determine that you are not in a critical condition, they won't section you. There are plenty of other severe cases which require urgent help, first they will talk to you, you may even convince them that you know about your problem and planning to start the therapy asap or if you are already taking a therapy, you may say that you would like to change medication because these medicines are making you feel really bad.

I hope this isn't entirely unhelpful, but even if you do go to the psyche ward, and you cooperate with treatment, and talk things through, the chances are it might not be a too horrific experience for you, and they will probably release you pretty soon.

Just a thought for your worst case scenario.

The chances are, unless you're deemed an immediate risk to yourself or others, you probably won't get sectioned. What you tell them is as important as anything else.

If you tell them that you aren't suicidal and that you don't want to hurt yourself then they can't section you

I got sectioned for saying it, now I'm nervous I'm stuck in here for awhile. I hate it so much already.

All you can do is say and do the right things to keep your stay there as brief as possible. Think of it as taking a strategic time-out on your suicide goal.
