I tried watching videos on how to tie a hangman's noose, but I can't tie the knot. Anyone have any tips on how to tie an easy knot for a long drop hanging?.. I plan on first trying a gun to the head, but if I can't manage to get the gun I need a backup plan. I am such a fucking failure, I can't even tie a knot properly. I looked at videos on a slip knot, and I can't manage that one either.
If I remember correctly, @Jiva has an excellent approach, with what is known as a "thimble" tied in the end of the rope. Perhaps he will weigh in with his opinion.
Slip knot is the best one. Just check youtube on the other end cow hitch or slip knot
