What is the difference when an user's profile page states;

Sanctioned Suicide - Error
This user's profile is not available.

as opposed to

Sanctioned Suicide - Error
This member limits who may view their full profile.

Hi IfHeDiesHeDies..:) Not sure of the first one, but I think that is when someone are ignored, and the second one means members has private settings, between followers or regular members..(I may remember wrong)

I've only ever seen the first error when someone has been banned but also their profile deleted or something maybe? Not sure, because some banned people stay viewable and you can still view the profiles of people you have ignored. The second error is as you said.

Hello.

So if you see a user with a profile that says.

Sanctioned Suicide - Error
This member limits who may view their full profile.

This means that this user has set their privacy settings so that only certain people may view their profile.

Sanctioned Suicide - Error
This user's profile is not available.

This can mean a number of things. I'm unaware of a 'block' feature, but I am aware that we have an ignore feature, I'm not sure if ignoring a user will produce this result.

Aye but will he? lol jk, I always assumed it was for those members who were perma banned/deleted accounts vs the voluntary and appealable bans.

I think it's to do with the privacy preferences, if you look at it, it gives different options as to who can view your details etc..

Some members, including myself at one point, choose to have their accounts banned voluntarily for any personal reasons. Since it's voluntary you can get unbanned in future if you want.

Bans can be appealed but that's really all I know, I don't know the criteria for which appeals are considered and which are allowed.
