I grew up with such people(hardcore religious prolife), it's really fd up how they condition you to think. It's not like they really have a solution anyways they are like marvel characters warriors of the status quo there is nothing to change, everything's perfect as it is. Just recently was talking to someone I used to be close to and described how it's possible to reduce HIV spread by enabling drug addicts to have access to clean syringes and dispose of used ones and she just accused me of being pro drugs. Same thing here, they create a false sense of safety and control by attacking just one way of ctb and calling it a decisive victory. They lack the nuance and empathy, they are like game NPC's with preprogrammed attack mode when they hear about something that disturbs them. I just wonder if they'll try to ban selling ropes, razor blades and the universe knows only what else when they realize it's possible to use them as well...

I don't wanna die. I really don't. But this is making me really anxious. I feel like I need to get some before it is too late and if it comes hard on hard I'll still have an escape. But I also know that I sometimes act on impulses and would just kill myself one day because of some sort of inconvenience.

They aren't helping people. They are taking away their right of freedom and will. If it is my will to die because I have suffered for years and all options are exhausted then just let me hecking die already. I guess the bloody methods are going on top of my list now.

I understand your point and you're probably right..The trouble is I'm driven by emotion 100%, never reason. When I'm angry I vent it. Im like a volcano waiting to erupt at all times and right now I'm erupting ..I'm angry with these people..mainly because they threatened me in the lowest way possible last week. I find it very hard to stand by and see people try to take the moral high ground when they have no right to at all.

Much like myself, I want to die, but it is hard too do and not straight forward either. I have been torn between SN and the Exit bag method for a long while now because I want a peaceful death yet other things make it difficult as well. It is not obligatory to hastily pick SN, make a goodbye thread and die on the spot.

That's so funny. First, this isn't news, this policy has been in place for a few weeks now. This affects Google ads, not search results. I've been able to find adequate replacement for IC through Google just a few days ago. It's so hilarious how they act as if they have one big victory after another when they're really grasping for straws. There are still plenty of SN sources out there, some ship globally, some ship regionally. But access to SN hasn't been impacted as much as the fixers would like (us) to believe.

You have to understand, they're trying to intimidate this community, that's the entire purpose of these Twitter accounts, every Tweets is directed at us because spreading paranoia and fear is the only viable angle they have left to sabotage the forum. Everything else failed. All these news article, legislative efforts, deplatfoming through social outrage, Youtube videos, none of it worked - it only amplified the popularity of this forum. That's why they keep saying the forum will go down soon every few weeks, like a broken record and they've been doing that for years when nothing is going to happen - they're doing that to intimidate the community.

If you take a look at their Facebook group, that's gives you a very accurate picture of the real situation. No activity in weeks. They celebrated Tantacruls video back in January and there was some noise about the Stop Online Assistance Forum Act in November 2022, which has died last year and that's it. It's been silent, a group with 1500 members and there is no activity, at all. Nothing, no celebration of any break throughs in the past few months because they have nothing to show for. Trust me, if they had something to celebrate, they would immediately share it in that group with all these members.

So here is my suggestion. We should ignore their Twitter accounts because they have proven to be malicious, compulsive liars and manipulators, throughout the years. There is no benefit for anyone reading through their incoherent garbage. It's better left ignored. So yeah, I have to agree with @FuneralCry here, they are insignificant, ignoring them and not giving them any attention is our strongest weapon. And that's why I'm going to delete future threads about them, especially when it's irrelevant news like the Google ads thing, which doesn't affect anyone here in the first place.
