Hi all sorry if this has already been posted but I'm new here.

I'm planning to ctb in approximately a months time once I have SN and the other medication. As I have a child from a previous relationship I feel like I should put certain things in place before hand e g talk to my ex about my family having contact with my son if anything were to happen to me etc. Writing a will so that there's no disagreements. I have savings and a house (mortgaged with equity) that I want to go to my son. How can I do all this without raising suspicions? Or am I better off leaving a suicide note staring what I want to happen? I'm in the UK so not sure if a note would be legally valid as it were. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Boy I wish I could help you with that. But I wanted to say that your preparing for these things is the right and moral thing to do. Whenever it's possible to relieve any possible conflict after you're gone is a noble thing. Just so I don't catch the wrath of others, I can't be able to do all that before I go. So I understand we can't all the time. There was a thread on here that I'm sorry I can't find rn that listed a very thoughtful list of preparations to make things as easy as possible for those remaining.

Depending on your age going to seek legal advise and or get a legal will is not uncommon.

If you write it on suicide note, it's probably not worth the paper it is written on.

I plan on consulting a lawyer and getting an official legal will. I'm nervous about meeting the lawyer and getting through a face to face interaction without raising suspicion. Plus I'm 29.

I think I'm gonna write a legal will first then try to tie up all the loose ends and probably give some stuff away since it's not of any use to me when I'm dead. But I'd do it gradually so it doesn't raise suspicion. I'm sorry I can't be of more help, all I can tell you is what I would do.
