Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm trying to order SN from IC, but I don't have the luxury of living alone so I have to direct the package to the nearest post office and pick it up there. Normally I'd do this by writing "POSTE RESTANTE *city* *zip code* *name of the post office*" in the address field, but the website also has a required flag for the 'appartment.suite, etc' field and I don't know what I'm supposed to write there. Does anyone have an idea?

Help! I want to use Post Restante as well !! But it's so confusing. I don't live alone either. Do you just write Post Restante or do you need to set up an account? I don't think my local post office do Post Restante. Any updates? Did u get ur SN?

Seems like you need to first contact the post office you wish to collect from, to set up the poste restante.. then put your address as that post office address..

I hadn't heard of this - very useful

Will your credit card company find it suspicious to have a parcel shipped to a different address?

No need to set up anything. I just wrote poste restante followed by the name of the city, postal code and the numerical identifier of the post office. You need to check whether a particular post office has this option, perhaps by going to the official website.

I did get my SN, now I only have my own survival instinct as an obstacle.

Nope, it's a perfectly valid option, people use it when they travel and aren't expected to be home when the package arrives for example. I didn't have any issues
