A 2018 literature review went further, describing the condition as "debilitating" and under-recognized, with "common PSSD symptoms" including "genital anesthesia," as well as failure to become aroused or orgasm, "pleasure-less or weak orgasm, decreased sex drive, erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation."
You sound like my really old & Catholic late mother. She was literally a 1950s housewife, from a pre-birth control era where how often you fucked actually was directly correlated to how many kids you had. Back then Catholics (within the bounds of holy matrimony) often banged like bunnies and as a result they had families with 8 kids and sometimes a even baker's dozen (if the lord really blessed them). Then birth control hit the market in the 1960s and suddenly horny gals -- who just discovered the female orgasm -- could fuck their brains out all without the risk of pregnancy.Anything that keeps the birth rate down is a positive, frankly. We're overpopulated and too sex obsessed.
Way back in ye olden days when I actually had a sex drive, I found that Zoloft entirely eliminated it. The irony was that Zoloft did not inhibit orgasm, not even at the sky-high dosage of 300 mg. Of course, having no sex drive due to Zoloft I had zero desire to orgasm, but if I wanted to go through the burdensome task of masturbation I could orgasm normal. Paxil left me horny as normal, but eliminated any chance to orgasm, sort of like having a coked gun that can never fire.SSRI 250mg, sex drive 0. A very one sided scoreline methinks.

The West however, is a shrinking population, we're below replacement birth rate and 100% of our population growth is coming from the stagnant pond water I previously described.
A birth rate of 2.1 kids per couple is needed just to keep a population stable over time. Various industrialized nations have birth rates below that and have to deal with the serious demographic problem of a shrinking population. With less babies you have less workers to support an aging population. This is a problem if you have Social Security or any other pay as you go welfare system for the elderly.
So if you're young, please don't CTB as a whole lot of old folks need you to work for them. This message brought to you by AARP.
Jesus Christ, I had heard of this but had no idea the effects could be long term. My sex drive is in the shitter too, although I've never taken said SSRI's. I only get aroused enough to want to rub one out maybe once every couple of weeks, maybe once a month. It's very sporadic. I'm a female in my 30's so my sexual trajectory is declining and it sucks. I used to feel horny all the time and orgasm a few times a week for years, throughout my teens and twenties but I've really noticed my drive slowing lately, almost to a grinding stop. I've found that it has unfortunately made a notable dent in my quality of life, and believe it or not is a part (not the whole reason) of why I want to ctb. I used to be so passionate, and feel so overwhelmed and excited by sex but now I just fall flat. The inability and infrequency of feeling pleasure makes me look forward to death that much more.
Certain specific parts of the world are overpopulated, and no matter how many fish are given to the large families in said overpopulated geographic areas, the task of learning to fish will continue to elude them forever. The West however, is a shrinking population, we're below replacement birth rate and 100% of our population growth is coming from the stagnant pond water I previously described.
I havn't had sex or a girlfriend since I was 19 thanks to SSRI's(I'm 32 now). And back then when I was In good shape I looked like a supermodel and attracted a lot of women. I honestly feel like I've been robbed of my youth because of it. There is no chance of informed consent when you're not told the side effects can be chronic. And anyway, you shouldn't have to keep your guard up not to be castrated by your doctor or psychiatrist. They are supposed to watch out for you.
