• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Can anyone honestly say that life can be worth living or fulfilling without a close relationship or connect? I just don't see it. Maybe for a time if your already stable. But it won't last.

I feel this.
I know I'm going to be isolated and alone for the rest of my life, and it's so impossible to convince myself that lacking that sort of connection and companionship in my life doesn't matter. It does. Living life alone means simply just existing, not living. I'd rather die than exist like that.

I'm doing it right now, have been for about 5 years, 100% alone, and I'll say the answer to your question is Nooooooooo. Even HELL NO! You can be alone for so long, but it will take a toll on you, eventually.

I mean maybe people that aren't suicidal would say yes you can have a fulfilling life while living alone or being single. I mean there are people that exist that like being alone, people that are asexual, people that are just loners and don't like society…

But for me who's suicidal and one thing that adds to it is bc how lonely I am and I don't see myself ever getting a partner, yeah I can't do this for the rest of my life. I enjoy my alone time as an introvert but not ever having the kind of love I want sucks.

I second this, especially the last sentence

I've been housebound for ten years now, with hardly any interaction with another human being. I got used to the isolation after a couple of years, so yes, it's very much possible. If not for my physical health problems I could do 50 years of this, easily.

You can get yourself a puppy. (seriously, I'm thinking of getting one but I don't know if I can commit myself to live)
