[Poll] Do you wear a seatbelt while driving?

When I drive by myself, I do not. I only wear one when I'm in the car with other people. I want to increase my chances of dying in the event of a car accident. I've found a way to make it look like I'm wearing a seatbelt. I also kind of want to buy a seatbelt alarm stopper.

Why don't you just plug the seatbelt in behind you to it stops the alarm and makes it look like you're wearing it?

Don't do this, Comatose. My fear is that in the event of an accident, you'll end up with an irreversible traumatic brain or spinal cord injury. Death doesn't scare me, but these types of injuries do.

Yes, always. If I ctb, it's going to be on my own terms. Traffic accidents are incredibly random in terms of the type and severity of damage they can do. That's way too unpredictable for my liking.

Only when other people make me when I'm in their car lol! Otherwise I keep my seatbelt hooked just so that sound won't go off. I don't feel safe with the seatbelt on.

Yes, my issues started after a car accident (where I was also wearing a seatbelt) I do not want to end up in a vegetive state due to not wearing a seatbelt in another car accident.... besides the car loudly beeps at me non stop anyway if I don't put it on haha

Failed my driving exame 4 times already, 4th time yesterday. So it's not like I get to choose anything, I might just kill myself the next time I do the exam because it's rigged against me anyway.

I'm glad someone brought this up. I used to wear my seatbelt 'religiously'. But over the past year, as my depression has increased to abismal levels, I don't always wear it. This is a bad idea! I don't drive but, even as a passanger, I need to wear the seatbelt. Thanks for your the reminder.

Yes I do because I don't want to get injured and live with spinal cord injuries or other injuries from blunt trauma/force. Furthermore, I would not want to get a pesky ticket for not wearing a seatbelt. While I've never been pulled over during my entire driving career (knock on wood), there is no guarantee that I won't get pulled over for something in the future or if there is a checkpoint/routine traffic stop.

I ride a motorcycle so my chances of dying in an auto accident are incredible actually. However, I've been riding for over three years now with no close calls.

I prefer to die of my own free will, and not because I'm not strapped in to my car should some asshole do something dumb. Also, I'd prefer not to be a paraplegic or similar. So there's that.

My father died in a car crash, no seatbelt, and this was back in 1983 before airbags.

I laugh about seatbelt laws when riding my motorcycle.
I'm actual vehicles, I do, except on buses where it is optional.

I'm going to be honest, if I'm riding in a car with a social worker or something, I wear it cause I don't want them to get in trouble for obvious reasons (they'll force me to wear it anyways) or if my mom has to drive to Fort Wayne where there's a bunch of dumbass drivers I do even if I'm suicidal and etc.

But when she's just driving to the local grocery store or just a mile or so I don't, but that's more of due to laziness and that my town is mainly full of really old people anyways. But people are welcome to yell at me for that if you want.

Every single time i drive. The chances of getting severely injured are alot higher than ending up dead i'd figure.
