In theory exact sources can't be posted or named, but since this is stuff that can't be used to CTB (just to test the purity of a gas), I will say it:
▪ O2BOX from Forensics Detectors (I have this one)
▪ CY-12C (I have this one too, it's the one used in the PPeH)
▪ CY-7B (a most recent model of the CY-12C)

My CO₂ detector is the HT-2000

For regulators it matters whether the cylinder has a UK, US or EU connection/fitting. Is that something to pay attention to for these analysers as well?

No, the analyzers are not affected by standard connection of the region.

I also went with the cy-12c despite the questionable esthetics

The testing is for the case that you don't fully trust your source (like cylinders that don't come with the exact purity rating specified).
None of the folks I knew that CTB'd with inert gas tested purity.
