Help Please help me with my SN regimen and the medications

So. I'm not planning to ctb immediatly but I want my plan to be ready whenever I need it.

I read Stan's Guide but I really have difficulties to concentrate so I could'nt read all the thread... Also, I don't have the same medicine used in the thread. So I'm not sure of the dosages... If you could help me with that, I would be greatly greatful...

I decided to go with the 8 hour regimen described in the PPh 2023. Here it is :




16:00 : Start Fasting.

22:00 : Stop drinking.

23:00 : 1000 mg paracetamol (or 800 mg Ibuprofen ?)

23:20 : 3 X 10 mg domperidon


- crushing 10 X 2.5 mg Lorazepam then mix it with water (I don't know yet how I will be able to crush them...)

- Dissolve 25 mg of SN in 50-100 ml of Water


00:00 :

- Drink SN

- Drink Lorazepam





So, my questions are :

- Are the medications OK ? As it's not the same as in the thrread, I'm not sure about the dosages

- Is an 8 hour regimen really enough ? Do I have more chance to succeed with a 24 hour regimen ?

- I'm a bit sceptical about drinking the benzos AFTER drinking the SN. I mean, I need them to work BEFORE the effects of SN...

Ibuprofen is suggested 600mg, don't know much about the rest of the medications. regarding the fasting if you could do it, the more the better but as i understand it it's all about how fast your metabolism is and how fast you feel your stomach empty after eating. There are members like dani who fasted for only 8hrs and succeeded so....

I am also curious about when to take benzos. They take some time (15min?) to act and such a big dose can knock you out.
When I tried 2mg of alprazolam it knocked me out without any presign, but I was in bed, idk if you would faint while standing when using large dose.

Well, I take benzos every day so i think it would take a little more time to knock me out... That's why I don't know if I should take them a bit earlier in the process...

Thanks. I only have 400mg pills of ibuprofen (I don't think we have 300mg in my country) that's why I was planning 800. I guess it does not make a big difference. But I also can take 1000mg paracetamol

We also only have 500mg ibuprofen so I guess I will be forced to take paracetamol unless I break it in half or something :) but ibuprofen works better for me....idk

I think ibuprofen 800 is even better then 600

It's the dosage what matters if you built tolerance. Do you know how much can knock you out (eg make you 1-2h sleep asap)?

Well, I don't know. But a lot I think. As i take 2.5 mg every morning and i just don't feel anything... i am a bit afraid to try to see how many would knock me out, as it could sound like a ctb try for the people I live with... I don't want to end up in a ward for the fifteen time.

I also have Quetiapine. Which is not a benzo. But I take it to sleep. I know that 50 mg knocks me out in like 40-50 min...

I really don't know what to do...

I think Diazepam is quoted in the SN bible thread so i guess it is good. (Whereas Lorazepam, the ones i have, are not... So for me i don't know)

I really am not the good person to answer you. I am trying myself to understand the method properly... And I don't want to give you an answer without being certain it is the right answer. Sorry. You should try to create your proper thread to ask these questions, and I hope people with more knowledge than me will answer you

I'm not an expert, this is just my educated guess. I think the reason for taking benzos after SN is because you have a high chance of vomiting. You wouldn't want to vomit all of your benzos. I think Benzos take about 15 minutes to kick in. Because you have fasted, I think the benzos may kick in faster than normal.

No benzos are used to sedate
It is possible to use both

Antiemetics are there to try not to vomit the SN.
Benzos are there to calm you down (cause after having drink the SN, you will experience symptoms that could make you panic a bit).

You could do without all the medications but if you have them, things are way easier.

Oh interesting! Never taken Diaz before. Was thinking about 50-80mg? Half an hour or an hour before is better?

Do you have more Benzos besides the 25mg of Lorazepam? I'm going to be using 500mg of Diazepam. You have the order correct. Take the sedation med(s) AFTER you drink the SN. Some failures have resulted from the person falling asleep before getting the SN drink down. Also, Dr. Nitschke says the 8 hour is as good as the 24 hour regime.
