why does that matter, I only thought you just change how you tie the rope if you do partial (instead of doing a hangmans noose you do a simple knot)

If you are not that desperate to die. Go partial as you can have a second chance if you are lucky. If you are desperate to die. Go full suspension as you will have no second chance once you kick the stool away

I feel like at a hardware store you can just tell what will work and what won't. I got way more than enough from Home Depot back in 2012 the last serious time I was ready to ctb. Partial is hard though and I just passed out and woke up. Then I managed to go into remission for several years and I threw the rope away. However, I know it would have worked had I done it properly.
