Hello, this is my first time posting here and I'm looking for some advice as to what kind of guns at my range that are available to me would be the most painless to use on myself, I am heading down there on the 26th to practice for my first time using a firearm. Any advice would be helpful, as I've never been to a gun range or researched the proper way to off myself with a gun. I'll provide a list of the rentals available. I also would like to know if anyone thinks that CTB at a gun range is ill-advised as well.

Aforementioned List
PATRIOT ORDNANCE POF
TOMBSTONE 9mm Rifle

TISAS 1911 DUTY 45 ACP

TAURUS G3C 9mm Pistol

SIG SAUER P365X MACRO 9mm pistol

SIG SAUER P365 9mm pistol

GLOCK 43X 9mm pistol

SMITH & WESSON - S&W Equalizer 9mm pistol

GLOCK 19X 9mm pistol

GLOCK 43X 9mm pistol

Don't do it. It's a scumbag move, and completely immoral to include others in your CTB against their will.

i would second this, it really is not fair to those unfortunate souls around you and this action could mentally scar people for the rest of their lives. Please don't do this.

Please do not rope others unwillingly into seeing you CTB. Parents often take children to gun ranges as well as it's just traumatic for everyone involved. I understand the want and need to CTB, but as others have said: it's really unfair and cruel.

You're definitely right, I should be considering how that could scar other people. I shouldn't make any rash choices like that, thank you. I apologize if this worried any of you, thank you for being honest as well

most gun ranges are quite supervised and likely the moment anyone would try to point a gun at anywhere other than a target, you would be swiftly apprehended.
but also i agree with everyone here, it would be a lot to go though for everyone at the range as well. you seem kind and like youre figuring out a lot. wishing you all the best in the future <3

My opinion on a similar thread:
I can't imagine that you'd be able to pull that off at a shooting range. You'd have to hope to get a strong enough gun, otherwise you'd have to aim carefully... and that wouldn't be possible in a heat-of-the-moment public suicide. And if you don't aim right, people will certainly call 911 immediately. I mean, there would be people everywhere, and a surpising amount of those people might know first aid—enough to keep you from bleeding out at least.
Basically... not a good idea. Sorry you're suffering this much 🫂

Any of those would do the job. I guess if you really wanted to make sure you're DEAD dead, pick something in .45 but frankly 9mm will still make the lights go out easily.
