Planning CTB through hydrogen sulfide method

So the plan is mixing 4 bottles of the works toilet cleaner with 4 bottles of the animal sulfur dip in a two person tent in the woods (at night) with duct tape on the tents air vents and signs to warn others. The two chemicals will be in its own bucket and then mixed together in a third than I'll step outside the tent and wait 4-5 minutes than go back in and breath. Any thoughts on the execution?

Isn't inhaling hydrogen sulfide supposed to be quite painful ? If you can stick it in the tent when you go back in it could work if there's enough of it to breath in I think?

I'd go for nitrogen/argon/helium personally.

For this method you would need to isolate youself from the gas until it has reached a certain concentration (≥ 1000ppm), task that would require the use of an H₂S detector for sure (otherwise you are doing dangerous guesswork), and the problem is that H₂S detectors range rarrely goes over 100ppm (and you want to measure 1000ppm!).

This method is not considered peaceful and is unrecommended in the PPeH.

Thanks for the responses, I've done a lot of research on this and your right it would be a guess on the amount of ppm but I've read that it only takes a cup and half to reach ppm levels that can cause death in a single breath it's just matter of time which is supposedly 4-5 minutes

So lets say you hit a little less than 1000. You still have v high chances of dying though no? Ive heard worksite stories of ppl dying from h2s and then multiple ppl checking on those that just died only to die themselves? Sounds like its tasteless odourless and pretty painless to me ya? Could you explain more in detail. Id assume yk more from your tag haha Mr. GASmonkey!

It has a very strong disgusting smell, in fact it is called "rotten egg gas".
There is an entire chapter dedicated to it in the PPeH and PPH Essentials, you can check it if you want to learn about this nasty method. :)

I looked into this method awhile back and while doing my research I came across another method that sounded king of promising which is mixing formic acid with sulfuric acid to produce carbon monoxide. The peaceful pill handbook guy stands by this method I guess. He even designed and built his own little CO generator based off of this mixture

Interesting, from what the internet is saying only a few people have executed this but it seems the only thing required is the two chemicals, a co2 generator, and an enclosed space

Please don't do this. It IS survivable, it is terrible and it is painful.

It is not tasteless or odorless. It is awful, yellow and smells overwhelmingly of rotten eggs. It burns your eyes and throat horribly. If you are unlucky, you will have severe throat damage that will last a lifetime.


Please look for my previous threads for more information on how this method failed me, I would up with chemical burns from the reaction, severe throat damage and no one will ever trust me with a bottle of drain cleaner again.

In addition, there is always the danger that a responder will get hurt. It has happened. The reaction releases lots of water, which makes signs hard to read. Don't count on that. Also, people in a hurry to help don't take time to read signs. Since the H2S is heavier than air, you will also pollute the ground beneath you and anywhere the reaction products run off.

Don't believe the hype. It's not a guarantee, your corpse will be ugly, the minutes or seconds you're conscious will feel like an eternity and the danger to others is real.

Please don't mess with H2S.

With all do respect, I could care less about a few minutes of intense burning of the throat and eyes I'm just hoping I hit the right ppm within 5 minutes so I die. I read about a guy in China who was successful and used around 9 bottles so I might use more

I do not think I would consider this method if I were to ever go the carbon monoxide route. If I ever did, I would probably just try to get a tank of CO from an industrial gas supplier, but that could be a challenge in itself because they probably would not just sell that to anyone. Besides, I would personally choose nitrogen over CO if i went that route. I have read nothing but promising things about nitrogen and I would assume its not very hard to get
