I've made a post a month ago where I've mentioned that I've chosen full suspension hanging as a preferred method. Some things came up which postponed my CTB date, but now I'm certain I will attempt in two weeks time.

I'm still going over details and the logistics of it all. I'll attach some photos as well.
I've chosen a 6 meter 12 mm polyester rope. For the noose I'll be using the Arbor knot and for the anchor point I've chosen the Bowline knot. I've had some practice and I was able to come to a point of nearly losing consciousness.

Since my face will probably change color, I've decided to put on a beanie, since it's also cold outside, and tie a bandanna across my face. I don't think that'll lessen the trauma for the person who'll find me, but at least it'll be easier on the eyes.
I was planning on leaving notes for a couple of my family members and also some of my friends. Now, I was in a book store recently and I've picked up some, well, colorful envelopes. I like the colors, but I don't know if it's morbid to leave notes in a brightly colored envelope. I just don't know if it's appropriate, but who cares, right, I'll be dead.

My biggest problem is the location and the anchor point. I would never do it at home, because it'll be a horrific reminder for my family. I was thinking outside. Maybe the woods, but I don't live in a particularly wooded area. Still thinking on that.

I don't think it's a bad thing to use colors for notes, in fact I think they're nice, you chose the ones you like.

Regarding the places and anchor points..

Perhaps renting a house or room (Airbnb, hotels, motels, temporary accommodations) to have a private place for yourself could be a good option.

Most places have websites where you can look at photos and see if there are any suitable anchor points.
If there are ceiling beams, bars on some high window or some sturdy structure that can support your weight, even if you're not too tall, you can consider using a door as an anchor point.

You should check that there are no cameras inside these places, since for security reasons they are usually installed in certain regions.

Since I don't want to possibly survive the fall and drown, I'd rather jump on the pavement which would hopefully be pretty much instant. It is a pedestrian zone, but there's few people walking at night.

Still, I'd rather go with hanging for privacy.

Yes, take it easy, I think it's better to calmly look for a suitable place first.

Looks like you put some thought into it. Here are my observations/comments.

Tail length. Looks like the knots are correctly tied. However, when you tie the Arbor Knot, you should leave a longer tail at the free end. Tie the stopper knot as close to the Noose Knot as you can, and leave at least 10-15 cm of rope behind it, at the free end. If there is no tail left, there is a higher risk of the knot coming undone.

Bowline. For the Bowline, the length of the tail looks okay – it's long enough. However, consider adding a stopper knot to the Bowline as well, at the free end. This isn't necessary if the Bowline is correctly tied (which it is), but there is no reason not to add one.

Rope fraying and burning the ends. You could burn the ends of the rope to prevent fraying. After taking a second look, it looks like you already did that. It's hard to see in the pictures.

Practicing. I'm not sure how you're practicing, but the best way is to do it with the rope not attached to an anchor point, and by holding the other end in your hand. This way, you can apply as much pressure as necessary, without the risk of dying. If you pass out, you automatically let go of the rope, so it's safe. If you do this, make sure there are no sharp objects around in case you fall. Also, use a noose that doesn't lock in a tight position.

Anchor points. Others have already posted some good ideas. The only thing I'll add about trees is that you can use the trunk too. You don't need a perfect tree or perfect branch. It's relatively easy to tie a rope to a tree's trunk, and it'll hold perfectly against a downward pull. People are usually sceptical about this and discard the idea straight away, so I'll save myself the effort for now, but if you're interested, I can explain.

I don't want to do it at home either, for the same reasons you mentioned, and I'm planning to use a tree myself. I live in the suburbs of a city, and while there are no deep forests here, there are some good locations with trees. Doing it at around 3:00 AM at a hidden location is what I'm planning. Not in 2 weeks time though. :| That's scary soon.​

Covering the head. This is a good idea, and I plan to do it too. I'll use a sports bag. I've seen others mentioning pillow cases, etc. It's not just for lessening the trauma for the person who finds you, but for privacy too. People (civilians) won't be able to take photos of you.

Jumping vs. hanging. Regarding jumping vs. hanging, I think hanging is safer. Jumping is also one of the most lethal methods if there is sufficient height and a hard surface (not water!), but even if those conditions are met, there is still a miniscule chance of surviving a jump. I'd be concerned about this, and this is the reason that personally, I prefer hanging. With hanging, all the risks – for example, the rope or the anchor point failing, or being found too soon – are fully in our control.
