pill shopping spree?

Living with my parents, they have a lot of random prescription pills out in the open. One that I've taken note of is blood pressure pills and some sort of sleeping pills, but i forgot how those looked. Would it work if I just went on a shopping spree basically and just downed any pill in sight? This might be a dumb question, and I didnt do it earlier because I thought that I knew better and that it would probably just fuck up my liver, but how well would it really work?

Trying to die in such a way just sounds like a way to suffer even more, sadly suicide just isn't that straightforward.
