I think this picture is accurate. Amount of suffering and pain we go through is large as the sun (bad moments in life) and the good moments in life, pleasure and joy is the tiny rock. Do you agree?

There are no good moments in life, there is only relief from suffering: I enjoy eating because I'm hungry, I sleep because I'm drowsy, I do something because I'm bored, etc. Life is nothing but a pendulum that swings between pain and boredom.

I think that it's accurate. I do think that there are good moments in life but it comes with a cost... that cost is a significant amount of suffering and pain. I don't even think that having a view such as this is cognitive distortion at all. There's lots of suffering in life but humans ignore as much of it as possible so that they can delude themselves into thinking that life is beautiful. After all, evolution wouldn't work efficiently if most humans weren't wired to ignore the suffering and hardships that happen in life
When I was with my partner, everyday was great. They made life so bearable and joy filled. But the only issue with that is if you develop that kind of love and reliance and something tragic happens you end up on this website
