Sorry. I'm a social scientist! But my work on the human rights and genocide prevention has introduced me to a number of ethicists that I've found helpful. But hope you find a community of fellow philosophers here!

Definitely love the Ancient Greeks, early Gnosticism, Buddhism, existentialism, Nietzsche, Satre, pessimism, etc.
Anything you like to share what you've read?

My favorite philosopher is little known. His name is Gary Moshe. YouTube channel - inmendham. He's the founder of Efilism. The philosophy that asserts that life is a negative imposition. It covers yet goes deeper than Negstive Utilitarianism, Antinatalism, Antitheism/antispirituality. There's plenty of stuff online about it.

Awesome. Glad to see another Efilist in here. His gladiator war anallogy is brilliant. I also liked how he explained how the earth is a meatgrinder.

I suppose I 'm quite a philosophical person in general but it hasn't come from anyone as such. Not to my knowledge anyway

"I thought of this crowd of suicides: more than eight thousand five hundred in one year. And it seemed to me that they had combined to send to the world a prayer, to utter a cry of appeal, to demand something that should come into effect later when we understood things better. It seemed to me that all these victims, their throats cut, poisoned, hung, asphyxiated, or drowned, all came together, a frightful horde, like citizens to the polls, to say to society :

"Grant us, at least, a gentle death! Help us to die, you who will not help us to live! See, we are numerous, we have the right to speak in these days of freedom, of philosophic independence and of popular suffrage. Give to those who renounce life the charity of a death that will not be repugnant nor terrible.""
