I do, but that video never showed, at least not through it's entirety:/ Other people were commenting on that as well. Was really looking foward to watching it. I too need all the information I can possibly get on this method.

He seems pretty convinced that SN is a peaceful and reliable method. He says that everyone he knows that has taken it has passed away with ease and lost consciousness around 10 minutes after drinking it.

Sodium Nitrite is looking pretty damn attractive from what Nitschke is saying. I still have questions.

SN blocks the ability for red blood cells to carry oxygen to the brain causing hypoxia. Isn't that sort of how inert gases work? Seems like the only difference is that SN takes a little longer. 10 minutes to lose consciousness, 40 minutes to cause death. Sodium Azide sounds like the painful one! Causing the headaches and nausea. Fuck that.

I'm gonna do some serious research on SN. If i am still not convinced I am going to go ahead and jump in January.

I think inert gases just replace the air you breath. Both cause Hypoxia. Inert gases won't cause the side effects that sn does though.

Sodium azide knocks you out in 3 minutes so I think it should be tolerable.

Im looking up methemoglobinemia.....doesn't seem pleasant and is the result of Sodium Nitrite. Side effects include - shortness of breath, headache, and seizures. Eh but Nitschke said SN can be intoxicating as it induces hypoxia. All these mixed messages!

He says of the hand full of people that have chosen Sn and allowed it to be monitored all have passed peacefully without pain. He states could be a backup for nembutal if you can't obtain it. All fell unconscious in about ten minutes. All had taken antiemetics. Doesn't want to give reliability assessment due to only monitoring a hand full of people.

It's as close to an endorsement as he is likely to give.

I defiantly understand but I don't want to be in agony. That's what scares me.

Familiar. What about the killer headaches reported by some people ?

The sample group ? Elderly, close to death already ??

I get it's 'novel'. Somone here survived more than 2 gr azide.

I also guess the effects of SN vary from person to person. Didn't Chabot talk about terrible headaches ?

Back to the vid: what about pig poison ? SN isn't the same as the pig poison , is it ? nd humans aren't pigs. He's a bit too glib IMO.
