It's not cowardice, it's biology itself you're trying to fight. Survival Instinct (SI) is a natural part of the human brain.

Maybe a substance alcohol cannabis who knows. But after all it depends on our determination. We have to see no way out. It takes bravery

The process itself of dying is scary. But you can't skip it no matter if it's a natural death or ctb. If you want to be dead, first you've gotta accept the process of dying, and that it will be uncomfortable and painful

I agree that they are so courageous, hanging sounds like a terrifying method to me, I don't really think that someone is cowardly if they struggle to go through with it. I guess that those who managed to succeed were just very determined, maybe desperate.

For me I had realized that I wasn't particularly afraid of death, but rather afraid of the pain or risk of surviving that comes with most methods. Once I had found some methods that are relatively painless with minor discomfort I was no longer really afraid, just comforted by the fact that there's a way out of this place.

Any example of those methods?

Or they just have a good anchor point…

I'd do full suspension in a heart beat, if only I had an anchor point.

There's information about it all over this site, but you should look into using sodium nitrate (SN). I would recommend using nebutal (N) but this shit is pretty much the stuff of legends. Maybe check out these threads if you're interested:

You're not a coward. CTB'ing is a big decision, and humans are hard wired with SI. (Hugs)

CTB requires bravery courage and determination. But even those who did it already and are not longer here, they were once scared too. It just takes time, it takes a situation, a circumstance, that pushes us to the edge where there is no going back
