People wanting to live long

I wonder why most people wanna live longer.
Medical advancement already has stretched life to huge length. Yet they want more of the same.
What is there in this place thats so alluring, that makes them wanna stay seemingly forever? The newest iPad or Xbox? Can't be there boring 9 to 5 job. to generalize a bit.
Or maybe its just the sheer indoctrination of death being this evil that needs to be avoided for as long as possible.

life sucks snd always has. but 25 years of life back in stone age or whenever okay I can handle that. But 90 years of this shit is just a punishment.

Because these people don't struggle with huge problems like we do.
But I can understand that people want to live longer to see their children and grandchildren longer.
I remember my grandmother who said life has no sense when you cannot do things normally (she was in a nursing home for years, disabled, and died at 90). I was not sad when she passed away because she suffered so much for years and she wasn't well treated in this nursing home.
But I don't think our generations will be 90 because of stress, pollution, junk food ...
