Ok, I'm pretty embarrassed and feel a little weird for asking this, but, to some of you have you felt your penis getting smaller by taking any medication? I felt it at first taking lisdexamfetamine, I was taking 30mg and discontinued it within a few days. Then I was given Escitalopram 10mg and, I felt that my erection was not as good, and I no longer had the size I used to have in erection. This lasted for a long time, until my erection stabilized. Then, I was given Risperidone, 0.5mg, and everything was chaos, I felt the same as with the lisdexamfetamine, but long lasting. Now that I discontinued it, I feel thinner. That it doesn't happen. I asked my psychiatrist and a urologist, even an andrologist and they said it was impossible. However, a neurologist mentioned that it might be doable. Has anyone had something like this happen to them? And do you know where I can find a paper on the subject?
P.D: excuse my english, I am using a translator

Was on 5 different types of medications for anxiety disorders and my dick was tiny and limp for half a year. Eventually I got off all of them and made a full recovery with no reduce size. I'd suggest just weaning off the medication slowly and going back to what worked before if any did. Best of luck brother ❤️

I had ed for years but it was all in my head and I fully recovered from it. The mind can very much play tricks on you to the point of physical symptoms, but you can get over it.

It's been about 7 months from the last pill that I took. It lefted me anhedonia as well, that go away by the second month after discontinuation. But this stays.

How do you achieve recovery?

I had a really good and confidence boosting sexual experience with a girl that I had considered out of my league. Prior to that I had been in a long term relationship with someone that in retrospect I wasn't attracted to anymore and I assumed it was my fault that I couldn't perform. That affected me bad and I made assumptions that I would never be good again.

Been taking various anti anxiety medication, anti depressants etc and my erection had a huge problem, speaking normally it wouldn't go away for hours... ig that was worse than shrinkage for me. Haven't experienced any shrinking tho, been taking meds for months.

okay, maybe I cant speak from experience - but I know for a fact its common for medication to cause different sexual dysfunctions. You're not the only case. It easily affects libido, erectile dysfunctions and in women causes aorgasmia. If it upsets you. You can talk to your doctor about it and consider changing your meds.

I'm no doctor but some meds decrease blood pressure, esp the ones used for anxiety which in turn decreases the blood flow resulting in a less than usual erection? But there are other meds that cause a chemical imbalance and result in a low libido and ED. For example one of the side affects of some men taking Finesteride is all of the above. You can get viagra over the counter now and fron reputable companies online. No shame in giving the a go as long as it doesnt interact with what you're currently on.
