Sat in the dark. Trying to listen to the sound of my own heart beating.
It is dark. So dark, like pitch black, there is no light.
What does it mean when the light shines?
I see nothing, hear nothing, I listen for a heart beat, but there is none, in fact there is only silence.
Nothing to touch, taste or smell.
There is nothing, no future, no expectation, not even the sound of me breathing.
This is a kind of peace, emptiness and nothing, but peace all the same.
Emptiness is peace, peace is the darkness and the darkness is the light
