Santa Muerte, the lady saint of death in Mexican folk culture? Or St. Joseph, the patron saint of a peaceful and happy death? Or St. Gertrude the Great, another patron of the dead? Or St. Michael the Archangel, who supposedly escorts the dead to Heaven? Or the god Hermes/Mercury, who guides the souls of the dead to the underworld? :p

Or even Hades, the lord of the underworld?

It's not like Hades is even evil.
His job is not to torture you, he's just helping you into heaven/hell. He's literally a moving company condensed into one guy.
OK, sure, pinning your heart against a fucking FEATHER is a bit condescending, but those scales or the feather are magical, so you have a chance of getting to heaven.
Now that I think about it, he should be more of a patron saint of either justice, nihilism, or neutrality. It's not like he gives a shit about you specifically, his job is to just weight your heart, act scary if the feather or scales deem you worthy or unworthy of heaven, and move you into either. He's literally just a guy doing his job, he's kinda like a cashier.

But in Greek mythology, Hades doesn't really weigh souls. Did you mean Anubis? In Egyptian mythology, he does weigh souls using the feather of Ma'at. In Greek mythology, Minos, Aeacus, and Rhadamanthys are the judges of the souls of the dead. As king of the dead, all Hades does is to ensure that nobody tries to leave the underworld, and that nobody steals the souls from his realm.
